Hola from Mexico,
During my week in Mexico on Rancho La Puerta and I loved every minute of it. From the great food, workout classes, to the beautiful flowers, I could have stayed forever.
I decided to visit during Family Week. The difference between any other week and a family week is the Ranch is more kid-friendly during this time. On a normal week, you must be at least 16 to come to the ranch whereas during family week anyone over the age of 7 can join in on the fun!
The possibilities are unlimited. They offer tennis, pickleball, workout, hikes, or just relaxing by the pool.
The best part of the family week is if you have kids you will still have time to relax and go to the workout classes in which you intended on going to. There is a program that allows volunteers to take your kids around in both the morning and afternoon. You can go out and do your activities while your children do theirs. Then you can meet up for lunch and dinner to still have some quality family time.
When you arrive you are given a folder with all the information you need for the week. It also includes a schedule with all of the activities that are offered throughout the week. Here are the activities that I decided to participate in during the family week. Keep in mind that many of these things are only offered during this special week so if you were to go during a normal time you may not have all the same options. they also offer specific things for adults only, families, or teens.

Now, this what just what I chose to do but throughout the day there were multiple things going on at all times. They offered many workout classes and stretching as well! There is truly something for everyone, even the dads. They also had open gym times where you could do your own workouts if the planned ones weren’t your cup of tea. It was a truly fun-filled week and something that is an awesome experience if you want to relax but have the kids along.
See You Soon
