GOODBYES ALL AROUND

June 21, 2016

Bonjour!

As my departure nears, the exchange students through AFS that traveled to America this year are also preparing to go back to their home country. To wish the AFSer’s in the area safe travels abroad and safe travels home we had an ice cream social at our coordinators house. For this we were all supposed to bring a dessert or a topping for the ice cream. Being the over the top kind of person I am, I decided to make cut out cookies. On each cookie was the flags of the places we were going or where the exchange students that came to America are from. There I got to talk to all the friends that I have only known for a short time but are on the exact same boat as me and we have so much to talk about. I am so glad I got to meet all of these wonderful people. Even thou the ice cream was good and the people there were even better! Exchange students are the best people you can ever meet. I hope to stay in touch with everyone and I can’t wait to start my own journey with AFS.

à bientôt

xoxo Gina
