Good Morning from gorgeous Hawaii!
When one thinks of Disney they often think of the place where dreams come true. Disney in Hawaii isn’t the same as the typical Disney one sees in either Florida or California. It is more of a tropical paradise than a place where Disney characters roam and rollercoasters roll.
When arriving at Disney we were greeted with beautiful lai’s made with real flowers. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and what’s not to love about Hawaii. From the beginning, I was in love.
As for the resort, it was gorgeous. Although it is not like Disney many picture, therefore there are not as many activities. They have a pool and a lazy river along with a few shops and restaurants in the area. There is also the beach just 100 steps away which was where we spent most of our time. They offer some activities throughout the weeks but we did not attend since they are quite expensive. As for Disney characters roaming, we didn’t see too many. It felt more like a Disney themed resort than a Disney park. There is nothing wrong with that but did not feel like your typical Disney full immersion.
Enjoy the beach and the wonderful food while you are there.
