Good Morning from Green Bay,
Green Bay is home to the NFL team, the Green Bay Packers. Therefore there are lots of things to do in this city that revolve around the Packers.
Here is the perfect packer itinerary from where to stay, to what to do.
Where to Stay:
The Lodge Kohler is a hotel that was just recently built by the packers right next to the stadium. They have a variety of rooms to choose from. There are just basic hotel rooms all the way to the packer suites. The normal rooms average about $130 a night on non-event weekends. On weekends with a game or a special event at the packer stadium prices increase incredibly. The hotel is very new and modern. In the hotel, there is a spa for some relaxation and a restaurant to grab a bite to eat. You will not be disappointed with your stay at Lodge Kohler.
What to do:
1. Go to a Packer Game
If you are in town during one of the Packer games it is well worth going to. Even if you are not a football fan (like me) it is fun to just get hyped up and cheer even if you don’t know what is going on. It is a fun way to spend your night!
2. Take a tour of the Packer Stadium
There are many ways to get a better look at the stadium. One of the best ways is to take a tour of it. There are many different types of tours that take you through all different amounts and parts of the stadium. They have tours that go out on the field, all the way to the highest part of the stadium.
3. Take a tour of the Packer Hall of Fame
Located in the Packer Stadium is the Hall of Fame. There is a display of many of the greatest stories in the history of the Packers. It also features many of the trophies throughout the years. This is something that is fun for all ages.
4. Ice Skating at Titletown
This is the newest addition to the Packers. Right outside of the stadium is an ice rink. This makes a great night of skating. They have skates that you can rent, so don’t worry if you don’t have a pair. Also don’t be ashamed if you are not the best skater, it is fun for all ages and levels.
5. Sledding/Picnic at Titletown
During the winter right outside of the stadium and next to the skating rink is a giant hill perfect for sledding down. During the summer it is going to be a nice grassy hill to have a picnic on or just get some fresh air.
Where to eat:
1. 1919
2. Titletown brewery
3. Hall of Fame chophouse
4. Anduzzi’s sports club
