Many people have traditions that they do at Christmas, or birthdays, but I would like to share my family’s new years tradition. I have no idea how this tradition started but in 2011 we decided to spray silly string to bring in the new year and we have been doing it every year since.
This tradition has been so fun for my family to do even as my sister and I get older we still celebrate the coming of the new year as a family since family is so important.

I hope you enjoyed that little flashback. As for the year 2018, I am hoping to make it the best one yet. It is very cliche as this is what everyone says, but I am truly trying to make things happen this year for my future goals. I have lots of plans that you will not want to miss.
I am hoping to stop worrying about what people think and roll with my mistakes and weird quirks. As Dr. Seuss said, “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” I am really trying to live up to that this year and hopefully be happier and more authentically me.
I also want to travel more and spend more time working on my blog!
I hope that whatever new years resolution you choose, that you push to follow through with it and make this one of your best years as well.
